Deactivating or Deleting Your Account
How account deletion works, what is removed, what is kept by law, and how to request it.

You can delete your account yourself from Settings. This is permanent — think it through before you confirm.
How to delete your account
- Sign in and open Settings.
- Open the account section that offers deletion.
- Read what the dialog tells you will happen.
- Confirm the deletion.
What is removed
Deleting your account removes your profile and your content from the platform — your posts, stories and the public presence of your account stop being visible.
What is kept, and why
A small set of records is anonymised rather than deleted, because the law requires Xacheus to keep them. Anonymised records no longer point at you. The Privacy Policy explains the categories and how long they are kept.
Before you delete
- Downloading your data — you can ask Xacheus to export your data before deletion.
- Monetization balance — if you have earnings in your wallet, request a withdrawal first; deletion may forfeit what is left.
- A problem is pushing you away? — if it is harassment, a scam or a technical issue, contact Support first; many problems have a fix that does not require losing your account.
Deleting your data without deleting the account
You can also ask Xacheus to correct or export your data, or to delete specific records, without closing the account. Contact Support with what you need.
