How Xacheus collects, uses, shares and protects the information you provide when you use the platform.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Xacheus (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Xacheus is operated by Seedwel Investment Limited, a private company limited by guarantee, incorporated in the Republic of Zambia on 19 December 2025 (PACRA Registration No. 120251037894). The company works from Kabwe, Central Province, Zambia and Chama District, Muchinga Province, Zambia.
Date of birth. Collected once, at registration or the age check that follows your first sign-in, to confirm you are 13 or over and to apply the extra protections for members under 18. It is stored privately, locked once saved, and never shown to other members.
Account credentials: your name, username, email address, phone number and password. Used to create your account, keep it secure, send verification codes and recover access if you lose it.
Profile details: your biography, location, website, profile photo and any contact channels you choose to add. Shown on your profile only as far as your privacy settings allow.
Uploaded media: the photos, videos, voice notes and documents you post, add to stories or send in messages. Stored so the people you share them with can open them, and removed when you delete them.
Messages and activity: messages, comments, reactions, reports and support tickets you write. Delivered to the people or teams you address them to, and kept so we can investigate safety reports.
Device and usage data: device type, browser, approximate region, the pages you open and the features you use. Used to keep the platform fast on slow connections and to diagnose faults.
Information from other members that involves you, such as messages they send you, mentions and Circle activity, so those features can show you what was addressed to you.
To run your account and the core features: the feed, Circles, messaging, Marketplace, stories and discovery.
To send account emails such as verification codes, password resets and notices about your own account.
To keep the platform safe: enforcing privacy settings, reviewing reports and preventing abuse.
To understand which features are used, in aggregate, so we can improve the ones that matter and fix the ones that do not.
Content you post is visible to other people according to the privacy setting you chose for it.
We work with a small number of service providers for account security, transactional email, content delivery and hosting. Each provider receives only what it needs to deliver that service.
We disclose information when the law requires it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Using these features may share business details or listings with other members as part of an introduction or a transaction. Use your own judgment before you share sensitive information.
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your information, except where the law requires us to keep it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure password storage and encrypted transmission.
Xacheus is for people aged 13 and over. The age check asks for your date of birth once and stores only what it needs to prove the check happened.
Members aged 13 to 17 receive private-by-default settings: a private profile, messaging, comments and mentions limited to followers, and a date of birth that stays hidden from everyone except authorised administrators.

The laws of the Republic of Zambia, including the Data Protection Act, 2021.
We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will tell you through the platform or by email.
