Understanding Available Payment Features
An honest map of what costs money on Xacheus today — and what does not.

This article exists so nobody has to guess what they might be charged for on Xacheus.
Free, today and always announced if that changes
- Creating an account, posting, stories, messaging and calls.
- Joining and running Circles and Spaces.
- Browsing and applying to opportunities.
- Buying and selling on Marketplace (Xacheus charges no listing fee or commission today; payment is between buyer and seller).
Paid features that exist today
- Advertising — Xacheus Ads, sponsored campaigns and audience targeting for businesses. See Advertising on Xacheus.
- Boosts — paying to increase the reach of a post.
- Creator monetization — where enabled on a creator account, earnings are tracked in the wallet and withdrawn through the available payment channels. See Understanding creator monetization.
What Xacheus does not have today
- No paid member subscriptions — there is no "premium" member tier, and Xacheus does not offer recurring subscriptions to members. If anything ever asks you to subscribe to "keep your account", it is a scam: Recognizing phishing attempts.
- No payment processing between members — Marketplace payments happen between buyer and seller, outside Xacheus.
Before you pay anything
Every paid flow shows its price before you commit. If you are ever asked to pay somewhere that does not — or by a person rather than the app — stop and report it.
