Applying for an Opportunity
How to apply for a job, scholarship, grant or training listing — and how to track it afterwards.
Last updated 19 October 2026
Opportunities on Xacheus are jobs, internships, scholarships, grants, competitions, training, mentorship, funding and similar listings. You apply without leaving the app.
Step 1 — Find an opportunity
Open Opportunities from the navigation and browse or search. You can filter by type (job, scholarship, grant…), country and city. See Finding Opportunities.
Step 2 — Read the listing properly
Before applying, check:
- Eligibility requirements — do you actually qualify? See Reading eligibility requirements.
- The deadline — listings keep their original publication date, and expired listings are removed automatically, so what you see should be live.
- The source — every listing keeps its original source; follow it and verify independently.
Step 3 — Apply
Open the opportunity and use its apply action. Depending on the listing you may fill a form in the app or be pointed to the publisher's own application process. Have your details ready (CV, documents, answers) before you start.
Step 4 — Track it
Applications you make in the app appear in your opportunity tracker, so you can follow what you applied to and when. You can also save an opportunity to apply later.
Honest limits — read this
- A listing on Xacheus is not a guarantee that the opportunity is genuine, that you will be accepted, or that funding will be awarded.
- Xacheus does not process applications for publishers and cannot influence their decisions.
- Never pay to apply. Legitimate opportunities do not charge application fees. If a listing asks for money, report it: Reporting a suspicious opportunity.
If something goes wrong
An error when you apply, or the page will not open? See Troubleshooting opportunity applications.
