Applying for Verification
How the verification request works: categories, supporting links, review, and what a badge means.
Last updated 19 October 2026
A verification badge on Xacheus means the Xacheus team has reviewed an account and confirmed it is the authentic presence of the person, business or organisation it claims to be. It is not an endorsement, a ranking, or a mark of importance.
Before you apply
- Your profile should be complete: real name, clear picture, biography.
- You should be able to show why the account is notable or authentic in its category.
How to apply
- Sign in and open the verification flow from your profile settings.
- Choose the category that fits you (for example creator, business, public figure, organisation).
- Explain why you qualify.
- Add supporting links — articles, an official page, listings that show who you are.
- Submit the request.
What happens next
The Xacheus team reviews every request. The review is human, so it takes time; Xacheus does not promise a decision within a fixed number of days. The team may ask you for more information — watch your notifications and Support inbox. You will be told the outcome either way. If the request is declined you can apply again later, especially if your circumstances change.
What a badge does not mean
- It does not guarantee any content the account posts is accurate.
- It is not paid for and cannot be bought.
- It can be removed if the account changes hands, stops being authentic, or breaks the rules.
Impersonation
If someone is pretending to be you or a known person, report it: Reporting impersonation.
