The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) 2027–28 offers an opportunity for outstanding students from around the world to pursue doctoral studies in Hong Kong. Lingnan University is among the participating universities that can nominate exceptional PhD applicants for consideration under the fellowship scheme. Established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2009, the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme was created to attract high-achieving students from around the world to undertake PhD studies at Hong Kong universities.
